You have joined a warm, supportive community of artists who share a passion for drawing realistic animals and nature with coloured pencils.
Whether you’re a beginner just picking up your pencils or an experienced artist looking to refine your skills, you’ll find step-by-step tutorials, expert guidance, and plenty of encouragement to help you grow.
Together, we’ll build your confidence, strengthen your technique, and bring your favourite animals to life on paper.

Here is what you can expect from your membership:
Access to exclusive content (full step by step video projects, quicker knowledge based videos and feature focus tutorials)
Community features (a supportive private Facebook group, feedback and help when needed)

How to Get Started - Quick Guide
Logging on
You will need to log into your account to access your Art Membership.
You can do this from the 'Home Page' by clicking on 'My Account' in the top right hand corner.
To access your tutorials click 'Visit' the Art Membership tutorials on the next page.
Your Membership Dashboard
Let's take a quick peek at your Membership Dashboard.
Navigation bar at the top of your Dashboard:
- 'All Tutorials' Will take you to all of the tutorials categorised into themes, mediums and surfaces;
- In the 'Announcements' you will find notes about recent news and new content releases;
- The 'Library' page will show you your additional courses etc. (other than The Art Membership tutorials).
Clicking on 'Dashboard' will bring you back to your Membership Dashboard.
'Your Favourite Projects!'.
This is where you can 'favourite' a particular part of a tutorial or video and it will show in this section here so that you can access it quickly when ready - a great way to line up the next tutorial so that it's there when you are ready to start.
To remove a video from this section simply go back to the video and unclick the heart that you originally clicked to add it to your favourites list.
'New Projects!' Area
In the new projects area you will find details of new projects that will be coming this month or details of the most recent projects. You can find all available projects via the 'Tutorials' tab at the top of the Dashboard.
'Your Community!'
At the bottom of your Dashboard you will find a link to your Artists Community where you can meet new friends who will be drawing along with you. You will also find details of how you can contact me for help at any time.
Managing your account details and membership subscription
If you need to access your account you can do this by clicking on 'My Account' in the top right hand corner (please note that you may have to go through the log in page again to access your account).
In your account section you will be able to adjust your e-mail settings and update your details e.g. profile name.
You will also be able to access your billing information and cancel your subscription by cancelling your payments

Watching tutorials
Once in the 'Tutorial Page' You will see the video or an image relating to the tutorial (if not a video supported tutorial).
Hovering over the bottom of the video will bring up a toolbar which will allow you to change the playback speed of the video along with the play button, pause button and an icon where you can turn on subtitles in your chosen language. You can also choose the 'full screen' option here to watch a larger version of the video.
Underneath the video you will find a description which will provide extra information about the tutorial or video. If the video is part of a tutorial, this is where you will find a list of suggested pencils for that particular part of the tutorial - this helps you to get just the pencils used for this part ready so that you can find them faster when needed.
On the right had side of the page you will find details of all of the available parts of the project. You can click on any of these to go between videos.
Underneath the tutorial part list you will see a box which allows you to click and mark a tutorial as 'completed' and a box called 'Add to favourites' - click this box and the video will show in 'Your Favourties!' on your dashboard. To remove from your dashboard - come back to this video and click onto the heart again.
Below the 'Add to favourite' section you will find all of the supporting resources for download to accompany the tutorial e.g. the line drawing.

The knowledge Library includes several videos to help you to get started, e.g. How to Transfer a Line Drawing onto your art paper and includes a list of pencils that I use often in my drawings. It also includes helpful videos on 'pencil pressure' and a demonstration of the pencil strokes that I use often when drawing.

I would like to invite you to join our private community on Facebook which is a great place to meet other artists that enjoy drawing animals and nature.
You'll find that we are a very friendly group. There will always be someone who will be able to answer a question, congratulate you on your achievements or offer advice about the tutorials if needed.
